I’ve got a 2018 A6 and the AC has started making this awful rattling sound whenever the compressor kicks in, plus the cooling isn’t what it used to be. Took it to a garage in Al Nahda last week and the guy just shrugged and said “maybe compressor, maybe not” while trying to charge me 500 just for a look. I’m done with places that guess. I really need a proper Sharjah Audi AC Workshop because these cars have that variable displacement compressor and sensitive pressure sensors that most general mechanics don’t understand. Has anyone had similar noise issues on a C7 or C8 generation? I’m near Industrial Area 5, so if you know a spot that actually diagnoses with the right tools and doesn’t keep your car for a week, please let me know. I’m already dreading the repair bill but I’d rather pay someone who knows what they’re doing than waste money on trial and error.
