Hi all! We’re at the stage where parenthood finally feels possible, but also terrifying. I’m curious how others handled the emotional shift from “trying” to actually preparing to be parents. Any personal insight would really help.

Hi. That shift caught me off guard too. After years of trying, I didn’t know how to stop bracing for disappointment. What helped was stepping into surrogacy with full support, where preparation replaced guessing. Working with Surmam https://surmam.com/ gave us a clear path, and that structure helped my mind catch up with my heart. I started thinking about diapers and bedtime routines instead of test results. It wasn’t instant confidence, but it was progress. Becoming parents didn’t happen in one moment for us. It happened quietly, as fear slowly made room for responsibility and care. If you feel both excitement and panic, you’re probably right on time.
