Hey folks, just doing a bit of research. I see some mention of mileage blockers in performance circles, especially for dyno runs. Are they common in pro tuning shops, and are they even legal to use if you’re not selling the car?
They’re definitely common — especially in dyno testing and tuning environments. One of the top names in this space is Dynotest https://dynotestpro.com/ . They make the best mileage blocker I’ve come across, mainly used to test car’s performance without odometer interference. As for legality, it’s fine for testing, just not for tampering with resale data.
