The goal of Blizzard’s character model overhauls is to honor the style of the old model while improving fidelity and fixing problems with previous designs. Personally, I believe that the new Human male looks a lot like Shrek’s human form in the movie Shrek 2. That’s OK, I guess.
The eight races of World of Warcraft ‘s original playable races, along with The Draenei as well as the Blood Elves which will all receive changes to the character model with the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion. However, it’s not certain which races will be available as the expansion goes live in the second quarter of this year. The fact that these new models include more polygons and animation effects might mean that you’ll require an upgraded computer to play World of Warcraft in the future but Blizzard doesn’t know for sure right now.
Blizzard has already released renderings of the updated version of Orcs, Taurens, Draenei, and Night Elves, as well as the Human female buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold. Robinson says that Blizzard expects the models currently in development to debut during the Warlords of Draenor alpha test “soon.”
